The Michelle L. Rawlings Foundation
Established on April 9, 2019, The Michelle L. Rawlings Legacy Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of our beloved Michelle LaChae Rawlings, a beautiful, compassionate leader, mentor, and advocate whose impact continues to inspire long after her passing.
Our “why” is simple and powerful: to carry forward Michelle’s legacy of love, service, and advocacy. She devoted her life to helping others, spending her last days as a foster care caseworker, mentor, and assistant basketball coach. Her passion for community, mental health awareness, and youth mentorship lives on through the work we do every day.
Michelle was known for her big heart, infectious smile, and unwavering dedication to lifting others up. She believed in being present, showing up, and making a difference, one person, one family, one community at a time.
Through this family ran foundation, we aim to reflect the same spirit of service that Michelle embodied. Whether through mentorship, educational outreach, or scholarship opportunities, we are committed to being a light in the lives of those who need it most.

I serve as administrator of the Michelle L Rawlings Foundation, established in memory of my beautiful daughter, Michelle. The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and fostering outreach around mental health, reminding our community of its vital importance. Guided by my Christian faith, I place my trust in God as I navigate the ongoing journey of grief. My goal is to honor my daughter’s legacy by transforming her loss into purpose, supporting others in finding hope, support and healing.
